I am an itinerant teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing which means that I travel to several schools and work with students from elementary to high school. Currently I work with 5 elementary students, 1 middle school student and 11 high school students. Of these 16 students, some are in general education classrooms and others are in multiple varying exceptionalities classrooms. Because they all have some type of hearing loss, they share the need for visual learning.
