My students are second graders who are mostly English Language Learners, and are not yet fluent in English. They come from low-income families and we are a Title I school. The parents do not have many resources available to them in order to assist them with homework and much less class projects. This year, all of the students will be engaged in lessons and activities that allow them to become familiar with and learn about the resources available to them. This will be accomplished through the use of educational websites and technological programs in my class.
