My students are special education students in 8th grade who are in inclusion classes and attend school in a small town junior high. My students have varying skill levels in which they could benefit from hands-on applications to practice their real life math and technology skills. Many students come to my room lacking basic life skills and methods to apply newly learned skills to real life because they lack opportunities of experience to build background knowledge or because they lack opportunities to apply newly learned skills to the real world.
