Many of my students come from a low socioeconomic background. School is all they know; most of them do not know the city in which we live in and get excited when we talk about going on field trips. They are hard working students; they know that school is the way to go. They are competitive, involved in school, and the community. They are good hearted students. My school is a small campus less than 450 students. We are a family, every teacher knows every student and their siblings. Teachers at our campus go above and beyond for the well being and academic achievement of our students. We are also a big familia! We are very involved in the community organizing events like Fall Festival where families of our students can come and enjoy food, games and fun. We also go caroling around the neighborhood wishing the families a Merry Christmas. There is a sense of family all around. Our school is the best school! We like to say that, and our students know it and say it as well!
