There are 24 students in my inclusion class: 12 girls and 12 boys, 6 special education, and 7 ESL (English as a Second Language) students. Our school is a public, inner-city school, where 65% of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. My students are spunky, humorous, eager to learn and love to read. Although 60% of my students are reading below grade level, they have a heart to learn and succeed. When I read books aloud, they frequently ask me to read more, demonstrating their love to learn!
