All of my students are native Spanish speakers. They have the enormous task of becoming proficient in two languages. The majority are on free or reduced lunch. Many times they do not have someone to read with at home, so we make it a big priority that they have many opportunities at school to read and to listen to reading. With the right classroom library and audiobooks I hope to give my eager readers the opportunities they deserve!
