My kindergarten students are extremely diverse in their backgrounds and the experiences they bring with them to school. Nearly half of our population qualifies for free or reduced meals. One of the most exciting things about kindergarten students is their enthusiasm for learning. They truly are little sponges and especially love BOOKS! Many families do not have access to great children's literature but regardless of their circumstances, every child lights up when a book is put into their little hands.
