My school is Bilingual and Title one, with a large English as a Second Language population. Many students are unfamiliar with the English language or speak no English at all. My classroom is very diverse with children from many different cultures. My students are eager and enthusiastic learners but many have gaps in their reading skills that need to be addressed. It is so important that reading, which is so critical for success in the classroom, becomes a daily routine that the students look forward to.

About my class
