Our classroom is made up of an amazing group of diverse students who work hard each and every day. My students are happy to come to school and look forward to our adventures in learning. We are learning and working towards becoming better readers, critical thinkers and overall better students. We are in need of quality non-fiction texts that allows each student to practice the reading strategies we learn in class and to successfully master the Common Core Standards. I am teaching my students how to access the information in non-fiction texts to help build their schema. I am teaching my students to become confident and successful learners.
