Our school is poor, people! We're a small charter school in Georgia that serves refugee, immigrant, and low income students. They're mostly on free lunch, and their families don't have a lot of extra money to buy books and school supplies. My classroom ceiling leaks in three places, so I'm a little hesitant to ask administration to buy new materials for my class. (It's an improvement over my last classroom here, where lizards occasionally fell from the ceiling.) My kids are smart and motivated, and they can use whatever help they can get!
