I teach in a small school district in north eastern Rhode Island. My kindergarteners come to me with a wide range of experiences and abilities. Some have never been to preschool, other are learning English as a second language. Some of my students are social butterflies, while other have rarely interacted with other children their age. Having students with such a wide range of home and school experiences means that I need to make my teaching appropriate and approachable for students of all backgrounds. The best way I do this is by making learning engaging, hands-on, and FUN!
