The donations will benefit every child in the school PreK-6. They are precious children that have all experienced extreme trauma. Most were high poverty before losing homes and school and any sense of security. They have great determination and a desire to learn and grow. This is my first year as a school counselor and am starting from scratch. Our temporary location does not provide a lot of room for active play therapy so the iPad can help in this area.
