In our math and science classroom we build a sense of community and respect and working together as a team. When using the iPad, we can do group projects. We can use various apps like Doddle Buddy to create a model of the solar system as well as the life cycle of plants and animals. These 8 and 9 year old students who are thirsty for knowledge and I want to seek technology opportunities to better their future. An iPad will provide a global resource so the students can reach beyond their own community. I teach at a Title 1 school and many students are not exposed to technology. With an iPad in the classroom this will open up so many doors to integrate technology in our everyday classroom. There are many math and science concepts that we can bring to life and show in a different way when technology is integrated into the classroom
