My students are in kindergarten - second grade and attend my enrichment class twice a week for 30 minutes because they are ready for more challenging skills. This past year I had kindergarten students multiplying single digit numbers, first graders working on fractions, and second graders reading numbers in the trillions! They are proud of their academic accomplishments as well as motivated to tackle new math concepts. Their school is located 25 miles south of Chicago. It serves a richly diverse community of about 600 students in preschool - second grade. Twenty-two percent of the students come from families receiving public aid while the balance come from lower to middle class families. The mission statement of the school is, "All children will learn, all children will be served." Your donation will help me fulfill this mighty mission.
