My students are exposed to the basic foundation of coding. This is accomplished through free websites such as Tynker, CodeMonkey and Code.org. My students will understand commands such as move forward and turn right/left. Additionally they will be able to rotate characters. They also will understand concepts such as looping. I would like to build on this knowledge and provide an experience where they can move an object that is not on their screen. This kit will provide a memorable experience for my students to learn coding! My students will use this Lego kit to build robots and move them using an app. This will be used during STEM lessons conducted on Fridays.
