My second grade students live in a diverse and impoverished community. Our school is over 110 years over and overloaded with children from all over the world. In our school alone, there are over 10 different languages spoken, most with English not spoken at home. Communicating with families can be challenging but we manage. Daily we greet 450 curious, hardworking, and grateful students that want to learn. Many of our classrooms have 30 kids or more. Our community is growing and learning from each other all the time. We look forward to sharing what we accomplish, learn, experience and create throughout the year.
