The children that attend Timber Creek are a mixture of high, middle, to low income. The students come to school with a variety of background knowledge. They learn the best when there is an abundance of learning material to help fully understand the curriculum that is being taught. The resources that are available are hard to come by since we are a new school. Being a new teacher at Timber Creek, I feel that my resources need to expand so that my students will benefit while in my classroom. The school has a lot of support from the community and they work hard to support the children and teachers. Although the community works hard to support the school and teachers, I feel I still need more resources to see the success in my students. My goal is to reach every type of learner while they are in my classroom and to equip them with the skills that will allow them to be life long learners.
