I have many physically and cognitively impaired students in my music classes. After the few instruments I had for them broke last year, they switched to workbook activities. Our school is only 4 years old and has been focused on attaining musical instruments for the general student population. (We are a selective enrollment school and have really excellent students.) My special education students are curious and sweet and long to find a way to express themselves more.
