My school is located in Las Vegas, NV. Our large school district is struggling and we have faced many harsh cuts over the last few years. I have been asked to teach English 10 Pre-AP next year. I am so excited and will have 4 sections of this (approx. 160 students). These kids are bright, motivated, and plan to move on to AP English courses for 11th and 12th grade. Currently, there are no novels or textbooks designated for this course at my school. I am trying to build a set of materials and curriculum that I can use year after year with these excellent, college bound students!
