Students will choose a topic to research and present their research findings to a panel to be judged during FCCLA competitions. Each day in my classroom, the students will engage in thought provoking dialogue, rigorous research practices, and creative presentation ideas to develop a meaningful project that demonstrates how they apply learned knowledge from our Early Childhood Education course content. Students will have an opportunity to show that they can compete at the same level with other students regardless of their disabilities. Some projects will focus on raising awareness and acceptance about various disabilities and others will focus on early childhood development ideas.
