My students come from low-income, urban communities of diverse racial and ethic backgrounds. Many of them qualify for the free and reduced lunch program. A large percentage of my students are English language learners and read at varying grade levels. Many of my students are not accustomed to so much learning based in projects and the learning by doing approach. I am committed to providing these students with a more positive, hands-on learning experience.
