My students are mostly from Hispanic backgrounds. They are English Language Learners and need plenty of exposure to vocabulary that is not familiar to them. We utilize lots of colorful visual aids to help them acquire scientific and geographical concepts. These students are amazingly eager to learn and are incredibly well behaved. They surprise me everyday with how earnest they are to learn and grow. The school we work in was built in 2008 and is extremely great at serving our students and enabling them to learn English at a very high rate. The parents are actively engaged in their child's education and do lots of volunteer work. This school is a Title I school which seeks to engage, educate and motivate our students to perform at a high level in all the educational programs associated with our school. The students are unbelievably creative and artistic and our art and music programs are exemplary.
