I teach 28 second grade students in South Carolina. My class is comprised of students that are reading on or above grade level. This means that it is not always easy to find books that are challenging to them and yet still age appropriate. My school is also a title I school which means that the majority of the students in our school qualify for the federal subsidized meal program. Resources aren't always easy to come by for such schools.
