My school serves a very high-poverty area with 99% of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch, the highest in the school district. My sweet third graders typically come to school each year with no school supplies, but they are eager and ready to achieve at a very high level! They are the most sincere, honest, hard-working children I have ever had the privilege of teaching, and I am blessed to have the opportunity to serve them every day.
