Weighted vests are really a great calming strategy for students who are autistic and/or have sensory issues. It makes them feel like they are getting a great, big hug. I have a weighted blanket at home and it really calms my anxiety. These weighted vests will really help my students to feel safe and calm while they are in the classroom! It can be used year after year for different students! This is my first time using DonorsChoose.org! So I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!
