Our students have many obstacles they are trying to overcome. These include poverty, language, and lack of resources. Even though it might get difficult at times, they always seem to work through their problems. There are many students in this class that will be the first to graduate high school in their families, so they have something special to look forward too. This makes them persevere and work harder than the other students. These students have only been programming for weeks, but they have found a new passion and most of the students said they will now consider a career in a STEM field.
