My students are very diverse in every way. They are vibrant and excited to learn no matter the learning level they are. I see their enthusiasm and it makes me want to find different and exciting materials to use in the classroom. The area we live in is a small, rural area. We have a low economic status. Because of this there is not a lot of funding for items needed in the classroom. Most items that are extra the teachers pay for. It is difficult to see scores and comparisons from larger schools who have funding in many areas where we do not. We do fall a little short, but not by far. We just work with the materials we have and keep pushing forward.
