My amazing readers don't have many physical books at home. The library is checking books out, even during virtual learning. More books are needed that better reflect the lives' of my students; whether that is dealing with homelessness, families with students living with their grandparents, wearing a hijab, or racial injustice. These books will be added to the library and students will be able to check them out. Also, teachers will be using them as read alouds to share with the whole class. Help my students discover their own voices in books that are mirrors and windows.
