I work at a low income school, and this will be my 5th year as a classroom teacher. I will be teaching fourth grade Math and Science . These students need to have resources available to them, and I believe that technology is an influential and necessary tool. Children today live in a completely different world than we do. Computers, TVs, iPads, and so many more contraptions make the world they live in. Sometimes children suffer when they are put in to a classroom that can't "keep up with their lives". I truly think that it is essential to use technology in the classroom. My students will not only benefit from my use of technology while teaching, but these tools will allow them to learn in an interactive classroom that gets them up and moving.
