My students are fifth grade boys and girls who attend a public city school in Ohio. Our neighborhood school educates over 700 students per year. Our district recently built 8 state of the art buildings equipped with amazing technology. While our facilities are wonderful, the majority of the children who attend our school are considered economically disadvantaged. My goal is to create a literacy rich environment so that I can envourage my students to become lifelong readers.
