My students are college-bound seniors in the IB program in an urban school. They work hard despite challenges at home and at school. They deserve the best as they prepare for college and the workforce. They are eager learners who strive to understand and engage with learning rather than passively receive and memorize. Our school experienced massive budget cuts in the recession and students have suffered. We can no longer afford supplementary materials that are needed for the specialized courses required by the IB program. I love watching my kids grow, and I want to provide them with the resources needed to prepare them for college.
