My students are going to use iPads to help them have a better choice of text to read while in their classroom: fiction or nonfiction, science, social studies, or similar characters. During independent time, they will be able to choose books to read from the iPads that will look similar to what all students are reading in the classroom. The technology will allow them opportunities to listen to stories, read stories to themselves, and be interactive with the text. The keyboard will be used to help reflect and write about their reading. The case is beneficial for young users in order to keep the technology safe and secure during transport and use. I am hopeful that this will allow a positive spin on reading and the love for learning for all these hardworking students. I can not do it without your support!
