The rug will provide a central location for our learning. The students will use their white boards and markers to work math problems, and I can easily see their answers. A rug would provide a place for the kids to be able to discuss their work in partners and in small groups. Our rug will provide a bright and special place for learning. Kids need different ways to observe and learn throughout the classroom. The rug would allow us to have large and small group time. They can sit comfortably and work together during peer tutoring and cuddle up with a book to share with a friend.
