I teach at a Title 1 School that has over 1,100 students, with a high population of English Language Learners. My class has 19 students that are on the free and reduced lunch program. My first-grade class is an active bunch that love interactive learning! These creative problem-solvers, a group of 7 girls and 12 boys between the ages of six and seven, are eager to learn and even more eager to share what they're learning. My students learn best when they are given opportunities to engage in hands-on activities that stimulate out-of-the-box thinking.

About my class
