I have developed a SIGHT WORD program for my classroom that works! My students are so EXCITED each time they pass a level. Whenever a student passess a level the whole class stops what they are doing to cheer, we dim the lights, turn on the disco ball, sing our Sight Word Fever song (a revised version of Boogie Fever by the Sylvers), and remind others of the secret to sight word success, which is PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! It is quite a sight! The supplies we've asked for will help us make necessary flashcards fro daily practice and the books and activities will help make daily centers for increasing sight word recall even more exciting! Thanks in advance for anything you can help with! XO
