I am an art teacher at an amazing neighborhood public high school in Baltimore, Maryland. Our school is one of the most ethnically diverse in the city with students from more than 30 different countries along side their native Baltimorean peers. In my classroom I strive to offer students the opportunity to express themselves and their unique identities through art while still exploring the vast history of art and culture that surrounds them. We may not always have the funds to give our creative, talented and innovative students EVERYTHING they truly deserve, but we definitely strive to provide them every opportunity to be successful!
