The impact that this project will have is not just for the students in my class, but for families that removes a financial burden for. White boards are a tool that I use daily, and this new class set will allow me to replace the current boards that have seen better days. Many of the materials that I am dreaming of, are the ones that just wear out over time. Having a sharp pencil might not seem like a big deal, but to a student getting ready to write a story, it means that their writing will start out on point. When you have a worn out pencil sharpener, you just can't get the sharp point. When your headphones stop working, and you are having to complete activities in a virtual environment, your teacher having a stash is a blessing.
