The majority of my students are visual learners. In order to address this learning style in my classroom, I would like a document camera. This device would allow my students to see a picture or page clearly displayed on a white board. This will allow them to easily follow along with me and stay focused on the task at hand. Having clear access to the material I am referencing while teaching a lesson will make all the difference. I have magazine and newspaper articles that I use when teaching informational text, but the students don't have their own copy. For this reason, a document camera will be very beneficial.
