My passion for helping students find their potential goes far beyond words. Throughout my teaching career, my eyes have truly been opened to the inequities that exist in the world today, and the importance of changing this. I have learned that the only way to create change is to help children see their potential, and provide them with access to knowledge and materials in order to act as catalysts of change in their own lives and the lives of those in their community. I am a teacher not to save children, but to help children find it within themselves to create their own paths; to find paths that will lead them toward whatever success they hope to reach, and paths that will help them to dream big and reach for the stars.
