My students are ethnically diverse, and come from low to middle income families. Due to financial constraints, at times my students do not eat breakfast, or lunch. Some of my students have limited resources for daily use (paper, pencils, pens, etc.) Though for some of my students, there are language barriers, they are determined to overcome all obstacles and be successful. This IB school, offers may opportunities for our students to receive college credit upon successful completion of IB/AP courses, however some of our students (especially bilingual), would benefit from resources to help them learn the language. These resources will give them the tools that they will need to be successful in their courses as well as life.
