Ninety-nine percent of my students are military dependents that live on an army base. I teach students that have been all over the world. My students come from every background imaginable. Many of my students have one or sometimes two parents that are deployed overseas. Writing and drawing can be a huge help when a student is missing their parent(s). Art therapy can provide comfort where comfort is needed the most.
