I teach first grade at a Title 1 school in Phoenix, Arizona. It is a small school with a fantastic variety of students from many different backgrounds. Our dedicated staff is close knit and works as a team to provide the best education that we can to each one of our individual students. Although the majority of our students come to school excited to learn and anxious to participate, most of our students come to school without the basic tools necessary for learning. With budgets becoming more restricted every year, it is increasingly difficult to obtain the funds necessary to purchase new materials.

About my class
