As a teacher in an urban, Title 1, STEM school, I truly feel like we are helping to build students who are independent, creative thinkers. My goal as their teacher is to help to ignite a passion for learning and thinking, in hopes of creating students who are equipped to be the next engineers, doctors, scientists, etc. As a Special Education teacher, I know the importance of creating equal opportunities for students, and creating ways for my students to access the same information as their general education peers. QR codes are a simple piece of technology that allows students to start assignments and stations on their own, by hearing directions being read to them. It also allows students to share their ideas and work, regardless of their written language abilities. Please consider donating to my project to further my goal of creating lifelong learners ready for the challenges of the world.
