Why do we need a class writing space? I assist students (grades k-8)who are learning to speak, read, and write English. My students come from homes where Spanish is the dominant language. They are the first generation to go to school in the United States. They are very motivated to do well in school. Their parents are also very supportive. Whenever I call, or offer suggestions to help their child they follow through.
