My students are great kids! They range from 1st- 4th grades. Majority of the students are Native Spanish speakers but cannot read in their native language therefore they struggle to read in English. For the students that are not Native Spanish speakers they are learning and absorbing the Spanish language quickly. Our school is located close to the city and we have a high poverty rate.
