I am lucky enough to teach such unique students. I teach young children with various disabilities, ranging from learning disabilities to autism. They require a lot of structure in an organized setting, and benefit from a consistent daily routine. My students live in tough areas. They have been exposed to so much, which no 7 or 8 year old should have to experience. When they enter my classroom, I want to make them feel safe and comfortable. In our school we try to the best of our ability to offer them the best accommodations possible, however, due to financial instabilities in our district, that is not always easy.

About my class
