I am a second grade teacher in the Stamford Public School System at Davenport Ridge Elementary where everyday I wake up excited to see the smiling faces of my 22 phenomenal students. I've worked at Davenport for 7 years now & have loved every minute! We have a very diverse group of students at the ridge with various talents & personalities making everyday exciting & new. With the increasing budget cuts in educational funding in our city it is trying at times to pay for supplies out of my own money. I do what I can to make sure my students have an enriching experience at school. Regardless of our shortcomings on supplies my students come to school every day ready to learn and determined to be the best they can be & work with what we have. They can truly thrive when provided with appropriate curriculum and learning materials. Your donations would make all the difference in the lives of my students here at Davenport.
