I teach English as Second Language Learners in grades 6-8. Most of my students have been served in the ESL program since enrolling in public school. They have struggled to maintain their primary home language while being immersed in English as a second language at school. They are motivated, intelligent, bilingual students who absorb learning like a sponge. They want to be comparable to their native speaking peers and fit in like any other middle school child. They are an inspiration to me, and the reason I love my job!!

About my class
