Help inspire eager 6th grade students to expand their vocabulary and knowledge of world history! I teach 6th grade Social Studies and English Language Arts (ELA) at a title 1 public middle school in the Bronx. Nearly all of my students qualify for free lunch and are faced with difficult financial situations, but they are also very eager learners who amaze me every day. This is my fourth year teaching middle school in the Bronx, and the second year at my current school. My principal is amazingly dedicated to our students' success and all the teachers work hard to foster a warm educational environment.
