I work in a title 1 High School located in an underserved community in Sullivan County, NY. We are fortunate enough to have a fully functioning dance program in our high school. Dancers get to choose to be in dance for their entire high school career! As the dance teacher I am able to see the same students, that choose dance, for all four years. Some dancers even choose to go to college as a dance major after their time in the school's dance program. Majority of my children will not have the opportunity to receive proper dance education without having it free in our public school. We have the most thoughtful, genuine, creative, driven children and they deserve the world!

About my class
